Direction of the southern island, in one of only two villages of Reunion where all the houses have a distinctive architecture.
They are usually made of wood, have a tin roof and a " veranda "(terrace in front of the houses).
There is also the famous "Lambrequins ", a very pretty word used to name the little white decorations in front of houses.
Before, we used it like a "gutter", their tips to guide raindrops down.
Imagine yourself in one of its houses!
Entre-Deux it's an evocative name ... This name because the village is located between two rivers: Cilaos river in the west and the Bras de la Plaine in the east.
And that's one of the reasons that make it unique village! Because rivers have long made access difficult in town, so it was well preserved.
Do not worry now, access to the village is easy by car on a bridge with a height of 150 meters to an exceptional view of the Bras de la Plaine.
To discover the best this village, two solutions available to you:
1st solution: You can go to the tourist office, where a charming team can offer you a plan of the village, with the tour of Creole houses. Moreover, IT'S FREE.
2nd solution: You can join a guided tour with a passionate guide, who will carry you in a nice foot one-hour walk.
Welcome to Entre-Deux!
